The Exeter Hip, a hip implant developed through a collaboration between the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital and the University of Exeter, is world’s most widely used hip implant. In 2018, a new community of scientists, clinicians and patients was formed to drive the next generation of life changing advances in joint disease diagnosis and treatment.

As part of the official launch, the Imaging Arthritis Consortium are delighted to invite you to attend a public lecture by a consultant radiologist from the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital. Dr Sharief Aboelmagd will provide an engaging insight into the tools and technologies used by radiologists to diagnose joint disease. Dr. Aboelmagd will also give an overview of the cutting edge research that will revolutionise diagnosis and treatment of joint disease in the coming decades.
