DESCRIPTION; CHARSET=UTF-8 :Speaker: Manja Koenders, University of Leiden the Netherlands/Bipolar outptatient clinic Rotterdam

During my talk I will give a brief overview of the mental health care system in the Netherlands (for bipolar patients in particular). Additionally I will give some insight in the treatment program at our outpatient clinic. Currently we are developing an emotion regulation training for bipolar patients. What this training is about, the reasons for developing this treatment and the first experiences with this treatment will be discussed. Finally I will tell more about our current BINCO study, a longitudinal study in which we include recently diagnosed bipolar patients and collect a broad variety of data over 1 year time.
