Dr Haslam is a Senior Lecturer in International Law and Co-Director of the Centre for Critical International Law at Kent Law School, University of Kent.

This seminar forms part of the Axis of Protection: Human Rights in International Law seminar series. The series is co-convened by Dr Kubo Macak and Dr Ana Beduschi with colleagues from the Universities of Oxford, Durham, and Reading. The seminar series has run continuously since 2013 and has received support from the Society of Legal Scholars and the host Universities. The participants meet once per term to hear visiting speakers on topics related to the theme of the series, understood as including issues concerning the protection of human rights in international law with emphasis on human rights law, international humanitarian law, international criminal law and international refugee law.http://www.exeter.ac.uk/events/details/?event=8094
