DESCRIPTION; CHARSET=UTF-8 :This lecture looks at the rich vein of recent photographic and installation art inspired by the idea of the forensic. The preoccupation with evidence gives rise to installations which engage with our desire to archive everything, from photographs and written documents to lifetracking data. Elsewhere artists respond to the understanding of objects as evidence (from digital photographs to bodies and bones).
