Dr Sharan is the Founder and Executive Director of the Afghanistan Policy Lab and an Honorary Fellow at the University of Exeter, Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences. He served as the Deputy Minister for
Policy and Programme for the Independent Directorate of Local Governance for the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and formerly the International.
