DESCRIPTION; CHARSET=UTF-8 :Walking, seeking water, visiting someone, collecting resources, and finding new places are everyday activities and behaviours that have been with us as humans since before we walked in an upright manner. In this workshop, we will approach the modelling of this movement using the R movecost package. With this R package, we will obtain an array of outputs based on slope-dependent accumulated cost surface calculations.

To attend this workshop no previous experience in R is required but basic knowledge and notions of GIS are desirable.

Sign up via Eventbrite is required. The workshop will be held in Digital Humanities Lab Seminar Room 1.
