DESCRIPTION; CHARSET=UTF-8 :As a leader and manager, you are in charge of making change happen. But how often do you stop to reflect on whether the change actually leads to improvement – are you or your organisation any smarter, better or more productive afterwards? How would you know if your organisation is learning and growing, rather than simply changing? Professor Oliver Hauser will present the puzzling paradigms that leaders are taught to use to enact change, but which often lead to little learning. This talk will challenge how you think about leadership and change, offer some new ideas on how to move forward through business experiments, and apply this new approach to case studies in some of the most challenging change settings in today’s workplaces (including equality, diversity, and inclusion).

This is an exciting opportunity to listen and interact with one of our leading academics in the field of Economics, with a focus on inequality and cooperation in organisations, society and the environment.http://www.exeter.ac.uk/events/details/?event=13270
